Over the past 6 years, I’ve enjoyed taking a moment to pause towards the end of the year to reflect on the past, celebrate my accomplishments, learn from my challenges, and set a clear direction for the future.
Some of the benefits that I gain from this process include: clarity on my intentions for the upcoming year, integration of my lessons from the previous year, and space to celebrate.
If you’d like a shorter approach to annual reflection, I’d like to recommend James Clear’s minimalist review. He does this by answer three questions: 1. What went well this year? 2. What didn’t go so well this year? 3. What did I learn?
